Welcome to the Assumption Community. We are located in Cold Spring, Minnesota, home of Cold Spring beer and Cold Spring granite. We are located in central Minnesota just minutes west of St. Cloud.

In 2008 the Assumption Home celebrates 45 years of dedicated service to the community. Our mission is to pursue excellence in providing a continuum of health and residential services for over 250 older adults. Our defining goals are to promote human dignity, quality of living; to server older adults with respectful recognition of each person's privacy, dignity, worth and wholeness; and, to provide a Christian environment for all regardless of race, creed or color.

While visiting our site, be sure you look over the many services we provide in Assumption Home, John Paul and Assumption Court Apartments, and our new Assumption on the Lake facility located in Richmond, MN. We also provide many additional services through Assumption Home Care, Home Delivered Meals, and Rural Stearns Faith-in-Action.

In 2008 we will also be breaking ground for a new Memory Loss unit, remodeling of our original 1963 building and our new Cold Spring Walk n' Wheel Loop, community wellness trail, so stop by often and see the progress of our planning.
